The Centre du Film sur l\u2019Art was crea\u00adted in 1980 by film direc\u00adtor Henri Storck, in an attempt to sup\u00adport docu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adries focu\u00adsing on artists and the artis\u00adtic process.<\/p>\n
Nowadays, the Centre du Film sur l\u2019Art pro\u00advides the public with a wide cata\u00adlogue inclu\u00adding more than 350 films about pain\u00adting, sculp\u00adture, pho\u00adto\u00adgra\u00adphy, music, dance, lite\u00adra\u00adture \u2013 be it ancient, modern or contem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry art.<\/p>\n
The asso\u00adcia\u00adtion orga\u00adnises public film scree\u00adnings all around Belgium in museums, cultu\u00adral centres, cine\u00admas, art gal\u00adle\u00adries \u2013 or in any other place open to it.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the asso\u00adcia\u00adtion makes its films avai\u00adlable to schools, stu\u00addents, sche\u00addu\u00adler, exhi\u00adbi\u00adtion cura\u00adtors \u2013 or anyone who might be inter\u00ades\u00adted in them.<\/p>\n
The Centre du Film sur l\u2019Art also puts toge\u00adther the only art film fes\u00adti\u00adval in Belgium, name\u00adly the Brussels Art Film Festival \u2013 BAFF \u2013 a com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adtive fes\u00adti\u00adval that takes place eve\u00adry November, in part\u00adner\u00adship with CINEMATEK, ISELP, BOZAR and PALACE.<\/p>\n
The Centre is fun\u00added by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie-Bruxelles and the Service public fran\u00adco\u00adphone bruxellois.<\/p>\n
